It is with deep regret that the world has to say goodbye to Natasha Mae Fester Obituary, who passed away in her home in Grove City, Minnesota, on March 13, 2024. Natasha, a loving and caring baby, was born on September 13, 1990, to her caring and dear parents, Jeff and Lisa (Chase) Adkins in Willmar, MN. She only lived a life of benevolence, stability, and devotion to the well-being of other people. Natasha’s death is a loss to all those people who knew her and who loved her, but her energy of love and care will never perish.
Early Life and Childhood
Natasha was raised in Minnesota in Willmar, so she had friends for a long time and valued the participation in the community. She was baptized in the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chokio and later confirmed at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar; this is where her faith was strengthened. She was a woman of faith and that was one of the most cherished treasures and assets that helped her along the way.
Tasha was an active, happy child, involved in many activities and always surrounded by friends. She went to Willmar High School and represented the school as one of the distinguished students of the Willmar High School’s class of 2009. Extra activity and co-curricular participation in high school: As a high school student, Natasha engaged in the Cardettes Dance Team, volleyball, track, and FFA. A born talent with a zeal for all things, she excelled in every activity that she ventured into. Always outgoing and with a bright smile, Tasha was known for her ability to connect with others, making friends everywhere she went.
A Heart for Helping: Nursing and Education
After high school, Natasha channeled her passion for helping people into a career path in nursing. She also went to school at Ridgewater College, where she completed her LPN, which stands for Licensed Practical Nurse. Not satisfied with that, Tasha furthered her studies at Rasmussen College in St. Cloud and acquired her RN (Registered Nurse) degree from the college, and later at Mankato State where she got her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree. She never relented in her education ambition and was later put in charge of the administrator of C. A. R. E.
At every step, both her patients and peers appreciated Natasha’s commitment, kindness, and empathy towards people around her. Both the nursing career and the administrative position she held; showed her passion on the lives of other people. She possessed the innate ability to calm others down or provide words of consolation when one needed them.
Family Life and Marriage
Natasha married Matthew Fester, the love of her life, on July 7, 2012, at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Their marriage was realistic, both as partners and lovers, and it resulted in a beautiful life. The couple resided in Atwater for nine years before they relocated to Grove City in 2019. Natasha and Matthew had four beautiful children: Mason (12), Marshel (8), Maxton (5), and MaKinlee (3).
Loving, patient, self-sacrasing, and devoted, Natasha was the perfect mother to her children. She enjoyed everything she did with them, and this included going to their school events, watching the sporting events that the kids participated in, or even when they stayed at home. Family was the core of her existence; she took much pride in making sure her children were comfortable and well provided for. Natasha, though a mother, was also a loving wife, sister, and daughter who would go to any length to ensure the needs of her family were met before her own requirements.
Pursuing Excellence: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Natasha has always remained committed to her career and to helping others. By August 3, 2023, she was a proud recipient of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from the University of North Dakota. It was the job she always wanted and she was happy at the opportunity to help even more people back at her community.
Natasha officially commenced her job at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in November 2023 and being a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She was able to extending her compassionate care to her patients in a new role that was now assigned to her but was major in a field that she loved, mental health. People often heard her colleagues describe her as having passion for her work and how dedicated she was for patients.
A Final Farewell
Natasha died at the age of 33 on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from her home in Grove City with her family by her side. This was a big blow to her family, friends, and the entire community who she left behind. But she left a great legacy, which, of course, love for people, kindness, and compassion.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:00 A. M., Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Her visitation was on Sunday From 2 to 5 pm at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Memorials are preferred to benefit the Fester children, ensuring that Natasha’s love and care for her family continue even in her absence.
In Loving Memory
Natasha Mae, more commonly known as Tasha Fester will be described as a kind-hearted nurse, a caring mother, a hardworking wife, and a loyal friend. She brightened the lives of so many people as she was a very kind-hearted, generous, and diligent caregiver. Along with raising a family and providing for her needs, she was always a servant to those who were in need of her help. She will be sorely missed but remembered by all those who were privileged to meet her.
At her funeral, people will celebrate the life of the young woman, Tasha, who was loved by all those who knew her and she will be remembered by her bright, kind smile, love that had no limits and joy that she was spreading to the people around her. Natasha might not have had the chance to grow old, but she is here teaching us the value of love, kindness, and selflessness.
RIP Natasha Mae Fester. We will always love you and you will always be in our hearts.
